Xerophytes


·      Xerophytes are plants that have adapted to live in very little water, like a desert. This allows them to survive in dry desert areas.

·      A thorn of a plant is a sharp part of the stem or plant that point outward. Usually plants have thorns to be able to protect themselves from herbivores.

R –strategist


·      R –strategist usually live in warm and unstable enviroments. They have the ability to produce rapidly and are very small. Also, they mature quickly and can live “on their own” quickly and easily.

Prokaryotes


·      Prokaryotes are single celled organisms. They are know for living in extreme environments in earth. An example of prokaryotes are bacteria.

Pollinator


·      A pollinator is an organism that moves the powder called pollen from one flower to another. Bees are perfect examples of pollinators since when they land in different flowers, they leave the pollen from different flowers to the ones they visit. 

Pollen

·      Pollen is the thin powder in flowers that contain the microgametes of flowers, which produce the male gametes. Pollen can be found in sunflowers.
